Wednesday, November 12, 2025: Putting the Pieces Together: The Heart Project

SUB Alumni Legacy Lounge,  Noon - 1 p.m.

Join Dr. Julie Alexander – Ruff, associate professor of nursing with 25 years of experience as a clinical pediatric nurse practitioner, and Dr. Sarah A. Ruff, educator with over 20 years’ experience in the K-12 and higher ed systems for this discussion of their research focusing on providing whole childcare to school-age children through trauma informed practices. The HEART project provides a two-prong approach to building trauma informed learning spaces with the goal of reducing out-of-class time due to psychosomatic complaints, illness, stress and anxiety.  This seminar is free and open to the public!
 

Wednesday, October 29th: More Than a Seat at the Table: Women Shaping the Local Landscape

SUB Alumni Legacy Lounge,  Noon - 1 p.m.

Join Lei-Anna Bertelsen, Danielle Rogers and Jan Strout for a conversation with local women leaders who are helping to shape the future of our community.  In their respective positions on the local School Board, Bozeman’s Economic Vitality Board, and the Bozeman City Study Commission, these three presenters will share information about current projects, highlight examples of how and why women’s voices are making an impact, and the many ways YOU can get involved to make a difference. This seminar is free and open to the public!
