Music Education
The Bachelor of Music Education (K-12 Broadfield) leads to certification to teach music at all levels of the public schools. A selection of courses in music education, music theory, and music history are offered at the graduate level.
- 100% of recent MSU music education graduates who sought jobs in music education are currently working in the field.
- MSU-Bozeman has an excellent relationship with the Bozeman public schools. We offer students four separate semester-long practicum experiences prior to student teaching.
- Additional coursework in music education includes conducting, music technology for educators, orchestration, general music methods, instrumental methods, and choral methods.
Program Learning Outcomes
