I'm ChloeAbraham, and I am a sophomore studying Psychology and Sociology-Criminology with a minor in Human Development. I’m originally from Twin Valley, Minnesota, and came to Montana State University on the Presidential Scholarship through the Honors College. As a McNair Scholar, I am researching mitigating factors of trauma in the Blackfeet American Indian adults with my mentor, Dr. Neha John-Henderson. After graduation, I aspire to pursue a doctoral program in psychology with a focus on research in childhood trauma and resilience. Outside of my studies, I enjoy volunteering with the Honors College, rock climbing, hiking, spending time with friends, and FaceTiming my little cousins back home.

Hi there! I’m Abbie Hollingsworth from St. Paul, Minnesota, and I am pursuing a B.S. in
Microbiology at Montana State University. I conduct research in Dr. Jovanka Voyich’s lab under Ph.D. candidate Patti Brewster, focusing on Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae (M. ovi), a bacterium that causes pneumonia in bighorn sheep and threatens the species by reducing lamb recruitment.
My project aims to develop improved methods for culturing this fastidious organism to support future research and conservation. My academic goals include attending medical school or pursuing advanced research in microbiology. Outside the lab, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, sharing good food and conversation with friends, and spending time with my family.

I am a fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing dual degrees in Psychology and Sociology. As a first-generation college student from Missoula, Montana, I am passionate about working with children and aspire to become a school counselor. My academic and research experiences are preparing me to pursue a master’s degree in school counseling and clinical mental health counseling.
Currently, I am conducting research with Dr. Cara Palmer on how childhood trauma influences the relationship between sleep and emotions in young adults. This past summer, I also worked in the Sleep and Development Lab on the PALS sleep study, collaborating with children and undergraduate researchers. My long-term goal is to build a career that supports children facing difficult circumstances by providing resources, guidance, and advocacy.
