Honors Presents Lecture Series
Where Curiosity Leads to Direction

Follow this link for the Spring 2026 Honors Presents schedule.
Honors Presents is a student-run, curated program that connects Honors College students with exciting ideas and speakers outside of their primary areas of academic study. While events are directed chiefly towards Texts and Critics students, all MSU students and community members are welcome. In partnering with organizations and clubs on and off campus, the Honors Presents team seeks to offer exciting lectures, workshops, and programming that represent a wide array of perspectives and experiences. The series enables students to discover new interests, knowledge, and passions, helping give direction to their journey at Montana State University and beyond. The program is tied to the first-year Honors College seminar because it helps expose new students to the wide array of opportunities across campus and it aligns well with a major course objective of Text & Critics: “Build a community of cross-disciplinary thinkers with multiple perspectives who share the exploratory process of questioning, learning, imagining, and knowing.”
Students enrolled in Texts and Critics courses are required to attend three Honors Presents events per semester for class credit. See the Texts and Critics syllabus for more information.
If you have any questions about Honors Presents events or attendance, or if you have an idea for an Honors Presents event, email us at honorspresents@montana.edu.
