Vision

We envision a program that will positively influence the social-emotional wellbeing of children who may be experiencing a loved one with Alzheimer's by providing age-appropriate information and positive modeling to children through storybooks.

By providing this program stronger multigenerational connections can be fostered with families who are impacted by this disease

Mission

Our mission today is to bring knowledge, awareness, and supportive resources on the topic of Alzheimer's to professionals and others who work directly with children, parents, and those with Alzheimer's.

Goals and Objectives for the Program:

    • Strategies to help address these impacts.
  • Increase parent/caregiver confidence to talk to children about Alzheimer's.
  • Increase positive family interactions as they relate to the experiences and challenges families face when someone they love has Alzheimer’s.
  • Increase positive child and grandparent interactions, creating stronger multigenerational connections and relationships.
