JJCBE to Host Homecoming Ceremony on Friday, September 26
 Continuing the tradition, thirty-nine individuals associated with Montana State University
                                 will receive awards during ceremonies associated with MSU's 2014 homecoming. The ceremonies,
                                 set for Sept. 26, are free and open to the public.
Continuing the tradition, thirty-nine individuals associated with Montana State University
                                 will receive awards during ceremonies associated with MSU's 2014 homecoming. The ceremonies,
                                 set for Sept. 26, are free and open to the public.
The awards will be presented at ceremonies hosted by each MSU college in honor of homecoming. The awards honor individuals in four categories: distinguished staff, distinguished faculty, honorary alumni and alumni achievement. The Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship (JJCBE) awards ceremonies will be hosted Friday, Sept. 26 at 8:30 a.m. in the Procrastinator Theater, located in the Strand Union Building on the MSU campus.
Distinguished Staff Award - Linda Ward '95
 This award recognizes staff in the areas of leadership, achievement, outreach, and/or
                                 meritorious service to the college. The award recognizes extraordinary contributions
                                 to the college, which may include but is not limited to improving or enhancing the
                                 quality of work life in ways that make a substantial difference for the college; exceptional
                                 creativity and innovation; or outstanding results in areas of outreach, leadership,
                                 and service.
Distinguished Faculty Award - Dr. Anne Christensen
 This award recognizes a faculty member for having distinguished herself or himself
                                 by meritorious service to his or her college in areas of teaching, research, leadership,
                                 achievement, mentoring, and outreach.
Honorary Alumni Award - Janice Whetstone
 This award recognizes a non-alumnus(a) whose extraordinary service has advanced the
                                 university and made significant and lasting contributions to the campus. The honoree’s
                                 professional, personal, civic and philanthropic pursuits must reflect the high standards
                                 and values associated with Montana State University, the MSU Alumni Foundation and
                                 higher education.
Alumni Achievement Award - Gary Bracken '61 (awarded posthumously)
 This award is given to a graduate from each MSU academic college with significant
                                 achievements in a specific field or endeavor since graduation. This person will have
                                 distinguished professional achievement, an outstanding record of service to the community
                                 or exemplary service to MSU.
