Second Wind provides students an opportunity to infuse new energy into their college experience, attain new skills, and facilitate their path towards degree attainment. MSU is committed to the academic success of each of our undergraduates and we understand that success is not always achieved in a linear path. Second Wind provides support to first-time suspended students who choose to engage with the program. Students return immediately to campus without losing a semester of momentum and continue towards degree attainment. Second Wind provides students the time and place to connect with campus resources and gain insights into their academics with renewed skill, purpose, and commitment to goal achievement. Second Wind programming includes:

  • US103 Learning Strategies course (1 credit), guided by passionate and committed instructors
  • Dedicated Success Advisor to facilitate action and follow through, guided by your goals and needs
  • Free SmartyCats one-on-one tutoring
  • Engaging guest speakers and topics to help navigate college learning, development, and engagement
