Nutrition Science – B.S. in Food & Nutrition, Nutrition Science Emphasis

The Nutrition Science program in the Food and Nutrition major at Montana State is specifically designed to prepare students for admission to medical, dental or graduate school with the program’s emphasis on nutrition and biochemistry. In addition to nutrition courses, Nutrition Science students also investigate nutrition on a molecular level with coursework on microbiology, micronutrients and metabolism, biomedical genetics and more.

The Food & Nutrition major at Montana State offers one additional Option Within the Major: Dietetics.

 

Undergraduate Food & Nutrition students Emily Raber and Cullen Kinnaire are conducting research projects related to a larger Montana State project to develop a peanut bar product with Senegalese farmers.
