Environmental Biology

Understand the relationships of various organisms in natural environments and how those organisms are able to clean up environments that have been disturbed by human activities.

Environmental Biology – B.S. in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Biology Emphasis

In the Environmental Biology program at Montana State, students learn more about the diversity of organisms – from microorganisms to large mammals – and their interconnected relationships in various complex environments. Environmental Biology students engage in cross-training on various subjects in biology and microbiology in order to gain a better understanding of those interrelated relationships on both a physical and chemical level in the environment.

The Environmental Sciences major at Montana State offers four additional Options Within the Major: Environmental Sciences, Geospatial & Environmental Analysis, Land Rehabilitation and Soil & Water Science.
